YOUNG STORYTELLERS FOUNDATION
INVOLVEMENT
This is my fifth semester working as a mentor for the Young Storytellers Foundation. Once a week for nine weeks I meet with a group of students at their elementary school in Los Angeles, and I work one on one with a 5th grade writer to develop a five-page play. At the end of the session each writer's script is performed by volunteer actors on a stage in front of their school.
